A little late

Two of the kids had birthdays last month and I meant to do a little post for them, but, life happens and well, I lost track of time.

Noelle turned 2.  The way people always talk about how different each child is and all that stuff is so true.  Not only gender wise but just in every way.  All 3 of my girls are different and the same and it’s just wonderful and fascinating to me to see the different ways they handle things.  Noelle is very much the baby girl.  She is picked up whenever she wants and catered to and treated like a baby doll.  She is rotten and hits her brother and pretends like she falls asleep whenever we take her out of the bath to lay her on the bed to be dressed. 

The last 2 years have flown by- faster and faster they come.  I used to have the kids potty trained by 2 and bottles taken away by a certain time and so on, but all of that hasn’t seemed as urgent with her. 

It seems more important for her to play in puddles and taste strawberry icecream and go naked for as long as she can.

She still has dimples instead of knuckles and yeah, she hits the bottle when she goes to bed.   I’m curious how she is going to take having a new baby in the house in just a few short weeks.

I hope well.  She’s taken a bigger interest in baby dolls and putting diapers on them, so that’s a positive sign.

She’s amazing and I am always blown away at how in the world I am a mother to all these awesome kids.  Kids weren’t in my 20 year plan, but how funny that they are my entire life!  Happy Birthday to my baby.  xoxo, AmyQ
