It’s not Vegas, but it’s close!

No, camping is not close.  It’s not even remotely in the same category, except that both  Vegas and camping are things that you do on earth.  And I’m pretty sure camping is a verb and Vegas is a -place.  But I think you could “do” Vegas as in, make Vegas a verb and “do it”.   Whatever…. there’s a huge photography convention happening in Vegas right now.  I couldn’t make it this year, so I begged Chris to take us camping.  Yes, I took a 2 week old camping- in a motor home.  It was great.  And we’re going again this week and maybe the week after.  I’m addicted.

Nice lady with a cool bird!  The kids thought that was cool.  Not Macen, but the girls loved it.  Did you know that those kinds of parrots live to be 80 to over 100 years old?  I did not, but I discovered that from this nice lady.  And now I know, I never want to own a parrot.  Talk about a commitment!!!  Holy cow.

March 8, 2010 - 1:40 pm Melissa - Beautiful pics!! I LOVE the one of the 3 kids! We laugh-when we brought Trey home from the hospital at 2 days old, we had no family here. We looked at each other and laughed and said, "Wanna go fishing??" So we took a 2 day old fishing and he has turned out just fine. lol He's always been able to go with the flow!
